Pacific Coast Highway

 Day 3 of a four-day visit to the Bay Area in Northern California.

Pacific Coast Highway:

No matter how many times you take this drive you will not stop being awestruck. Each vista offers stunning views of the pristine beaches along the Pacific Ocean. And as if this isn’t enough, add the spring flowers to the coastal hillside and voila ! You have paradise in front of you ! 

Sunday adventure was exactly that. Driving to Half Moon Bay past Pacifica we stopped for a hike on a coastal trail. Weather was just perfect. I am not a bird watcher yet couldn’t help but appreciate the different birds we came across during the hike. Some of them were singing birds. Carpets of wildflowers spread along the hike. Further south on our drive there were a lot of surfers , including wind surfers riding on tall waves taking advantage of the high tide and wind. We made it to our hotel in Monterey just about sunset time. 

Saree was a dusky lavender tussar from Vidarbha with Bagru print.
