Quietude

 

कुछ ना कहो कुछ भी ना कहो

क्या कहना है क्या सुनना है

मुझको पता है तुमको पता है

समय का ये पल थमसा गया है

और इस पल में कोई नहीं है

बस एक मैं हूँ, बस एक तुम हो

Have you experienced times when you have nothing to say, just be ? That’s how I’ve been feeling last couple of weeks. Work keeps busy and you have to talk to patients and family to the extent necessary. But beyond that the mind is just quiet. Not sad, not elated, just enjoying a peaceful silence. May be the urge to write about a poem or a place or something else may arise and then the chatter will start again. But for now it is just this quietude.

Grateful to the many people who checked on me because there was no post from me on the saree group for a long time. I am touched by the kindness 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Saree is a much repeated cotton Sambalpuri from the National Award winning weaver Dayalu Meherji. This was my first saree I got from him.
