This day began our mother daughter trip to the state of Washington.

 Took early morning flight from San Francisco to Seattle. Picked up a rental car for a week. 

My nephew lives in Issaquah, a suburb of Seattle. He and his wife had a new baby in May and his mom( my husband’s sister) is here from Pune to enjoy their first grandchild. This day was for family time. We were visiting them in their new home for the first time. It was a very good neighborhood. The hydrangeas in most of the yards were simply gorgeous. My SIL went the full nine yards pampering us with puranpoli lunch.

In the evening they took us to a nearby lake in the city of Medina. Mt Rainier was seen in the distance from the lake shore. Watched a gorgeous sunset there before heading back to Issaquah. 

My simple cotton weave from Assam served me well all day from the flight to bedtime. Paired it with an Ajrakh cotton blouse.
