Hum Panch in Pench

 

4 days from November 8-11 were spent with my closest circle of friends from medical school at the Pench National Park/ Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Last year the five of us met in Aurangabad. This year in Nagpur and drove to Pench.  Innumerable birds and animals, five friends, four days, three safaris, two flights, one villa and zero tigers is one way to describe it. But better still, endless chatter and priceless company is what really mattered. 

At each trip we take together we try to coordinate at least one item of dressing. This time we went overboard. Someone suggested a floral dress. Another suggested black pants and a solid color shirt. Me being a saree person gifted them Garidiya sarees from Assam bought prior to my recent trip. And one evening at Pench we dressed up in these. It was a long day after the safaris and it was getting close to sunset when we took the pictures. Yet it was quite a memorable session.
