Sequoia National Park: Day 1

 

Experiencing divinity becomes effortless in the midst of the giant Sequoias. One of the oldest living beings on the planet, these trees soar high connecting the earth to the heavens. They have seen it all. Generations of men and other creatures, fury of nature and evils of the human race. They have acknowledged the benevolence of conservationists and environmentalists. And year by year they continue to stay put amidst sun, rain, winds, snow and fires. 

It would be hard for even the most disturbed of minds to not find peace wandering amidst the groves of these magnificent trees. Peace that is elusive in the clutter and chaos of civilization.

My most favorite of all national parks in California. No matter how many times I have come here it seems like new each time. I return a lighter and better person after being here. This time is no different.

The thick cotton Kotpad proved to be a perfect choice for that mild chill in the air.
