A Quiet Period

For those who follow these chronicles, there has not  been much activity lately on the writing front. Just quiet contemplation over many things in general and nothing in particular. 

A few terms for exercise on contemplation and experience if you like:

Pure Awareness or (simply) Awareness 

Modesty and Humility ( will write about this sometime when I get into the mood).

Saree in the photo is a cotton Bomkai from Sonepur in Odisha. It has doll motifs on border and pallu. I hadn’t noticed earlier that the saree has also incorporated small bands of ikat with flower motifs in the pallu. Woven elongated buttis are scattered over the body.
