An Evening at the Pier.

The Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. The two iconic bridges of San Francisco are sights that you never stop marveling at. And if you get to stroll leisurely around sunset times watching either of the two you have hit the jackpot for the day. Saturday was one such evening. The western skies were covered by fog. Although the sun was veiled, its farewell arms stretched far and wide painting the clouds pink and purple on the east. The cruise ships skimmed the Bay waters near the bridge. Squadrons of pelicans were seen returning home as the day was drawing down the curtains. I watched from the pier decks. The best shows on earth don’t cost a dime. Just asks for slowing down to watch the magic unfold.

The fine Gopalpur tussar weave with phoda kumbha borders and ikat on its pallu joined into the golden hour celebration.
