Big Bang: Real or Imagined:Part 5
Big Bang: Real or Imagined :
Part 5:
Why would mankind benefit if serious physicists and saints have a respectful conversation?
For that first we need to understand what is the definition of a saint that I am referring in the context of this discussion. I am referring to those advanced practitioners who have experienced the transcendental state.
How can the authenticity of such saints be known or understood?
From the life they have lived and the consistency of their message and absence of hypocrisy. As a rule, movement towards consciousness and away from matter brings about visible change in behavior. This is as reliable as the law of gravity. Compassion, humility, kindness, honesty, charity and such behavioral changes, plus clarity of thought become gradually noticeable and consistent when the person makes the journey from matter to its source at an inner level.
A scientist may have spent his/her entire career in search of scientific truths. But that very focus on that specific field of knowledge can become responsible to neglect inner integrity. There are well known anecdotes from history how top investigators/ scientists have stolen from the work of their peers to obtain global recognition and honors.
The saint on the other hand may have reached a remarkable degree of personal integrity but has no reason to have the same degree of understanding of other fields of knowledge like physics or mathematics or astronomy or chemistry or whatever.
Yet, despite not having specific knowledge of such subjects, the saint has a rather unique vantage point through the experience of transcendental truth. He is able to conceptually understand the laws underlying the creation even though he knows beyond doubt that at the end of the day the entire exercise is an illusion. Yet the good of all mankind is important for the fiber of his mind and intellect.
With that particular direction of his own thought, and the intrinsic ability to understand the language of a specialist from another faculty of knowledge if explained the concept in a clear manner, the exchange between the two can lead to scientific applications adhering to ethical principles. Science will not deviate towards harm for mankind. There will be checks and balances in place.
The scientists for this reason need to have a solid foundation on ethics. Talking to saints is not mandated. But adhering to the teachings of the saints is important. The consequences of disregarding the ethical laws of creation are severe.
Yet, at the end of the day, as mentioned earlier, the system is self regulated. A deflection from its own laws of moral conduct and justice leads to consistent effects like all other laws that apply to the system.
Saints know. But they also learn to just watch when they realize that that’s what is best at any given time.
